I did pretty well last night at a holiday party.  I controlled portions and are slow.

I did splurge a little at the end but am looking forward.

Life-thought 0001

How many tomorrow's does it take before you realize you are running out of them?

I don't want to wait until it's too late. It is today that I commit to a new healthy lifestyle.

My goal is to set an example for men and woman over 50 that you can make lifestyle changes - it is never too late.

Changing Lifestyles

I have made the decision to live a healthy lifestyle. The mental impact of making healthy food choices is immediate since it leads to what I desire.

Poor food choices will satisfy a craving, but it will not allow me to reach my desired vision of a healthy lifestyle.

The satisfaction of a giving into a craving is short term, but the impact is long term.

2013 Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle Summer Challenge

June 6, 2013 marks the beginning of the 2013 BFFM Summer Challenge. To me this challenge is a great motivator. I do not enter to win the contest, rather I enter to get met moving and change my behavior.

I am not happy with how I feel and look. My energy level is low and I am having difficulty sleeping. This is not good and I know I need to change behavior to change my lifestyle.

I started a pre-challenge to get myself in the zone before the challenge.

I will blog my thoughts, challenges and progress...
